CONCEPT OF PERSON & NUMBER

Person(पुरुष):- The words that indicate the thing (man or thing) are called person.

शब्द जो वस्तु /व्यक्ति का बोध करता है उसे पुरुष कहते है| 

Ex:- I (मै) , We (हमलोग), You (तुम), He(वह, पुरुष के लिए), She(वह, स्त्री के लिए), It(यह), Name(नाम), They(वे, वेलोग, वेसब), These(ये, येलोग, येसब), Those(वेलोग, वेसब),Them(उन्हें, उनको)

How many types of person? Write it. 

There are three types of person in English, Hindi and Sanskrit. 

First Person (1^st Person)

प्रथम पुरुष

Second Person (2^nd Person)

मध्यम पुरुष

Third Person (3^rd Person)

उत्तम पुरुष

What is first person?

Speaker is called first Person.

बोलने वाले को 1st Person  कहते है| 

What is second person? 

Hearer is called second person.

सुनने वाले को 2nd Person कहते है|

What is third person? 

By whom we talk about is called third person.   

जिसके बारे में कहा जाये या चर्चा किया जाये उसे 3rd Person कहते है|

 NUMBER (वचन)

The word that indicates the number is called number.

जो शब्द संख्या का बोध करता है उसे वचन कहते है|

How many types of number? Write it.

There are two types of number in English and Hindi.

* Singular Number एक वचन  

* Plural Number बहुवचन 

* But there are three types of number in Sanskrit.

(a) Singular Number एक वचन  

(b) Second Number द्विवचन 

(c) Plural Number बहुवचन 

What is singular number?                                            

The word that indicates one is called singular number.

जिस शब्द से एक का भाव बोध हो उसे एकवचन कहते है|          

Ex:- One pen/Pen, One cow/Cow. Etc.

What is second number?    

The word that indicates two is called second number.

जिस शब्द से दो का भाव बोध हो उसे एकवचन कहते है|     

Ex:- Two pens, Two cows. Etc.  

What is plural number?                                                            

The word that indicates two or more the two is called plural number. FOR ENG & HND

जिस शब्द से दो या दो से अधिक का भाव बोध हो उसे बहुवचन कहते है|                             

Ex:- Pens, Cows etc. 

The word that indicates more the two is called plural number. FOR SNK

जिस शब्द से दो से अधिक का बोध हो उसे बहुवचन कहते है|                                

Ex:- Pens, Cows etc.

* Sequence of difference kinds of person if come together.

यदि तीनो Person एक साथ में करना हो तो इस क्रम में use करें -

2 3 1 order 

Ram, you and I were playing cricket. ( × )

You, Ram and I were playing cricket. ( √ )

यदि 2nd and 3rd Person एक साथ में करना हो तो इस क्रम में use करें - 

2 3 order 

Ram and you can do this work. ( × )

You and Ram can do this work. ( √ )

यदि 1st and 3rd Person एक साथ में करना हो तो इस क्रम में use करें - 

3 1 order 

I and Sita can go market. ( × )

Sita and I can go market. ( √)

यदि  1st and 2nd Person एक साथ में करना हो तो इस क्रम में use करें - 

2 1 order 

I and you can love Shyam. ( × )

You and I can love Shyam. ( √ )

NOTE:-      Sequence of difference kinds of person if come together and do illegal work. 

1 2 3 order 

Ram, you and I were going to kill Raju. ( × )

I, You and Ram were going to kill Raju ( √ )

NOTE:-     

(a) If difference kinds of person come together and first person is also present in them, get their combined possession by our.

Ex:- You Ram and I completed your task. ( × )

You, Ram and I completed our task ( √  )

(b) If difference kinds of person come together and first person is not present in them, get their combined possession by your.

Ex:-You, Ram and I completed your task. ( × )

You, Ram and I completed our task ( √ )
